SBS allows carriers to stow 102”-wide containers on the same ship with standard ISO containers, creating flexibility to handle special shipments without compromising capacity. The SBS, made up of a platform and several pairs of beams, is easy to position, remove and stow. When in use, the integrated beam platform acts as a connector beam along with the others to transition between 96” and 102”-wide containers. When not in use, the platform acts as the storing and transport rack for the beam set.
